Hi Guys,

I recently built my new system. Everything seems great, games run great (cod4 maxed, crysis on high, insane fps when frapsing etc etc) and everything seems extremely quick (boot time is slower than I thought, but that might be me being picky!!)

However, I recently downloaded memtest86+, booted it, and got around 100 errors  - on the first test!!! I disabled USB Legacy before the test.

I have set the BIOS settings as the following:

Ai Overclock Tuner - Manual

OC from CPU level up - auto

CPU Ration Control - Auto

FSB Frequency - 333

FSB Strap to Borth Bridge - Auto

PCIE Frequency - 100

DRAM Frequency - DDR2-1066Mhz

DRAM Command Rate - 2T

DRAM Timing Control - Manual

CAS#: 5

RAS# to CAS# Delay: 5

RAS# Precharge: 5

RAS# Active Time: 15

RAS# to RAS# - Auto

Row Refresh recovery time - Auto

Voltage is set to 2.11 (Voltage timings on the mobo are currently awful!!)

The processor is running at the expected 3Ghz, with a 1333Mhz FSB.

The freqency in cpu-z for FSB:DRAM is 5:8.

Are my settings correct? I am concered that because I failed memtest, my ram is faulty, and I will have to send these sticks back to corsair.

OR, is the issue with my mobo? I am aware it is buggy - and as my performance does not seem 2 have taken any hit (that I am aware of!), could it be my motherboards bios (as opposed to a physical fault)?

Thanks for any help!!

well i reran the tests, sticking the sticks in 1 by 1, in every slot.

And everytime 1 stick passed fine, the other failed, everytime.

I raised the RMA with the company i purchased it from, and they are shipping my replacement :D:
