Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote64.exe - System Error

I just started getting the following error at various time intervals. It appears as an error message box with a corresponding error in my Event Log. Sometimes it makes the iCUE icon on my tray disappear, sometimes it doesn't. In either case all my hardware controlled by iCUE is still functioning the way I set them.

 

I'm on the latest version of iCUE and firmware. I did an uninstall and reinstall but that didn't help. Any ideas on my problem and how to fix it?

This error might have been caused by corruption on my system. I restored a disk image from yesterday. Let's see if I get the error again.

Please report back one way or another. I've already filed this with the Corsair team.

So far so good.

All appears back to normal. I closed the ticket I opeed on the problem.
