Mishanchik
I send you On Line RMA Request Form, but... I have no problems with detecting flash drives in OS, but you wrote to me: " would check this link as it seems to be a common issue with Vista http://teknobabble.wordpress.com/2007/08/18/vista-driver-problems-installing-a-usb-media-reader-a-solution/ This seems to work as well. Go to Local Disk ©, got to Windows, got to System32, go to Driverstore, go to Filerepository, go to usbstor.inf ( click the on that is newest), cop ythe usbstor.inf and usbstor.PNF files. After you have copied the two files got to Windows, inf folder and paste the files in that folder. Now your usb devices (flash drives, hard drives, ipods, etc.) should work. " I want to replace my flash drive, but you wrote to me about another problem. :(:

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 13, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 13, 2007 I am sorry but what you put in TSXpress was and I quote you "some computers with Vista and XP SP2" and the tech took it to mean it was not detected in Win Vista so the answer was correct. But if you just want it replaced that is no problem, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. The average read and write for a 4 G GT FV 25.5mbs Wite and 34 Mbs Read Non GT 4G FV is 2.2mbs Write and 19.2mbs Read.
wanderer256
Hello, Ram Guy, It looks like I have the same problem as described above. I've purchased the Voyager GT 4GB today and has read speed only about 25 MB/sec (according to HDTach benchmark and Total Commander built-in file copy benchmark) and write speed about 21 MB/s (according to Total Commander benchmark). I have Windows Vista x86 installed on my machine; tried to copy files of different sizes (100MB - 1.5GB) with the same result. My flash drive is identified as Corsair VoyagerGT rev. 1100 in the system. So, should I try to contact reseller and attempt to replace the drive? ignoramus
Having tested similar read speeds, 22-24MB/s in HD Tach/Tune, I'm curious, before I go replacing things, as to whether the problem lies in my computer or in the drive (new, just arrived today). I've read that certain systems restrict a drive's full capabilities and wonder if that's my case. I use the default Windows XP Pack 2, have been for two years now. Then again, my Datatraveler reads fine at 22MB/s.

ignoramus
I'll do that then. One question, though. I intended to take advantage of a Corsair rebate when I bought my GT. Will replacing the GT affect my eligibility for this rebate?
