dwbarnett
Question for Inheritance and the unoff. CUE manual. Thank You for this very helpful manual. I continually check for updates. I noticed the section for retain key input has no info. Any plans to update that section as well? If not, is there a good source of info on this feature. I saw the initial blurb from Corsair James, but haven't seen any updated info, since implementing the feature in Cue. Apologies in advance if I missed a detailed thread. Best, David

Best, David It retains the keys originally output along with the action you assign it. So Pause can be Pause and Space to pause youtube videos and media players. I didn't have much time recently so I wont but updating the guide till something major comes out. Edited September 24, 2017 by Inheritance
dwbarnett
Hi inheritance, Ok, so if I want to creat an action such as, If I hold my CTRL key down, I could just illuminate the keys assoc. with ctrl-x; and I would have that key combo..ie CTRL-a etc. If so, I have wanted to do this since i purchased my key board. Thank You

Thank You Take a look at Tutorial: Switching Modes by Modifier Keys and Modifier Key Combos. (For CUE 2, one would use profiles instead of modes.) The idea is that while pressing your CTRL key, you switch to a profile that illuminates the keys for which CTRL is part of a valid combo (e.g. a, x), and you can also assign actions to the second key from within the CTRL profile -- just remember to retain original output of the keys, if you still wish the CTRL sequence to act as originally intended.
