AusTerro
Howdy everyone, It has been years since I posted on here. I had a look around the Corsair website and could not find any way to check if my two faulty SSDs are still under warranty. Apparently its a 3 year warranty, I think it will be close, or maybe just after. But I would still like to find out. With Seagate or WD HDDs, there is a form that you can submit the serial number and it will return the warranty status. Is there an equivalent for Corsair SSDs? As a side note, the SSDs prevent a PC from POSTing and the other one causes BSOD. From what I can see, its a controller failure. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks! wytnyt
Do you have a receipt , proof of purchase? If purchased from Corsair then the purchase would show up in your purchase history, but at any rate Its probably up to you to provide needed info... Administrators Technobeard Posted May 30, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 30, 2015 The warranty is not based on the serial number. It's based on the date of purchase. Create a support ticket and attach a copy of your receipt to the ticket: https://corsair.secure.force.com/
AusTerro
Ahh I see, So if I have lost the receipt, because I have moved house several times, then I'm out of luck?
Administrators Technobeard Posted June 1, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 1, 2015 Talk to the retailer and they'll probably be able to get you a copy of the receipt.
