pfolsgrofb
As the title Suggests. It adds a ton of files to the desktop. I put these in a folder, closed the application, ran again and they appeared again on the desktop.
DevBiker
Well, that's certainly bizarre. Can you provide a screen shot? List of file names?

DevBiker
How are you starting it? Those are the components for Link ... it almost looks like you are extracting the installer. And have you installed the new version?

And have you installed the new version? Well right now i have deleted all those files, then went down to start, and searched corsair link. Opened it up and then all the files appear again. I do have the updated version from yesterday
DevBiker
Ummm ... OK. I'm still sticking with "bizarre". Can you try this: Go to the install folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\CorsairLink4) and try to run from there?

Can you try this: Go to the install folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\CorsairLink4) and try to run from there? okay maybe this is the problem. pfolsgrofb
Fixed it. Reinstalled it to the location you told me to go to. No more issues.
DevBiker
That should be a shortcut, not the actual executable. Can you right click on it, go to properties and verify? I'm not sure how you would accidentally install it there. Perhaps it's best to start over ... go to Add/Remove Programs and manually uninstall Link. Then download and reinstall fresh. When it asks for the install location, make sure that it's the folder that I mentioned above.
