I have TWIN2X2048-6400C5 which are running at 333MHz instead of 400MHz.

During loading of BIOS (is this called POST?) the memory is reported to run at pc5300.

Cpu-z reports the following(concerning the memory):

How can I make the RAM operate in 400Mhz?

Best regards, Stefan.

Solved it!

Found some hidden settings under the "Advance->JumperFree Configuration" page and it appeared when the "AI over clocking"-setting was set to "manual". (If I really took the time studying the motherboard manual...! )

(I thought I had to change something in the Advance->Chipset- page alter some values for "Configure DRAM Timing by SPD".)

The memories are now running as expected.

But just to answer your questions RAM Guy:

The memories are mounted in slot #1 an #3.

I have the lates BIOS, 2801 for the motherboard.

After flashing the BIOS, default setting were used for one reboot, then I started changing the values.

Thank, RAM Guy, for showing interest.

/Stefan
