700D Manual?

Where can I find the full Corsair Obsidian 700D manual? The link mentioned in the quick start guide is dead.

As far as i can see this quick start guide is the only info.

Yeah, I sent an e-mail to technical support requesting a link to download the manual and have not heard back from them yet. I know that *most* of the 800D manual applies, but some does not. Also the tech support page does not have the 700D as an option to request support, again, only the 800D. :(

 

If anyone has the full manual for the 700D, pleas let me know. Thanks! :)

Why on Earth have Corsair made a product manual so difficult to obtain? :confused:

I am sure that it is an oversight, even the quick start guide says the full user manual is available on the website. Hopefully it will get corrected soon. :)

Just saw another thread from a while back asking the same question, how hard is it just to print the manual and stuff it into the case? :p:

Don't know why the 700D manual cannot be put in the case or even on the website as the Quick Start Guide states, but it seems like a copy of it could at least be scanned and available for download or even viewing for that matter.

Well true for the most part, but there are some other differences such as HDD fan location and mounting and lower HDD access and mounting, but yes mostly the same. They should only have to make a few changes and/or different pages to the 800D manual to make a 700D manual.

This situation is rather cheesy. As an owner of a 700D, I felt that a user/owner manual would have been useful if not expected from Corsair.

Actually I believe Ram Guy said in another thread that the Quick Start Guide is the full manual for the 700D. If there's other info you need, please post what you're looking for.

Wonder why the 700D Quick Start Guide says "A complete product manual is available for download at http://corsair.com/700Dmanual"?

The QSD only gives a parts list and contact information, no specifications, no warranty information and no user installation information such as how to remove side panels or front bezel much less how to install psu, mobo, drives, fans, add-ins cards or most importantly the front panel connectors. Yes, most of this is pretty simple to figure out for anyone that has ever opened a computer case before, but all of this information is in the 800D manual and more including full warranty information. Yes, you can download the 800D manual and most of the information applies except for the hot-swap drives and a couple of minor things like the lower hdd fan location and installation, but come on, the 800D manual even tells you how to remove and clean the lower case dust filter. :D

Hey, I just want to add a +1 for the person who said it was cheesy to not have a separate 700D manual. We are spending how-much? for this case, at least we should have a complete manual specific to this product.

 

Corsair is a quality company, but this situation detracts from that position, seriously.:sigh!:

I agree with x509 and the others; it's been 6 months since the last posting in this thread, Corsair Support still refers people to the (PDF) Quick Start guide as the full manual for this case.

 

Other cases I have owned in the past had (complete) manuals included with their cases-and they were far less expensive than the 700D.

 

As for the link for the 800D manual http://www.corsair.com/_productmanuals/800D_Manual-ENG.pdf that link is now dead (another 404-file not found)

Links are dead because of the website update earlier this year. If you go to the web page for each case, the manuals are listed at the bottom of the FAQs & Support tabs.
