Corsair Chris
Does it light up green or red when you change EQ profiles?
SimpleJiRo
Hi, sorry for late reply. Yes. It light up red when i change EQ profiles but honestly i don't feel much difference of the sound when i switch EQ profiles.
Brian48
Was there any resolution to this issue? I have the same problem. The LED light that indicates Dolby on/off toggle does not light up. I can toggle between on/off via the software control panel, but I'm not sure if it's actually working.
Brian48
Also, if it matters, I'm running Windows 10 with the latest firmware.
Toasted
When you change EQ profiles, does the InfoMic LED light up green or red? If it's red, the headset could still be in Stereo mode instead.
Brian48
No. No light at all. The only thing lit up is the mute led. Dolby never lights up no matter what if I toggle between EQs or enable/disable Dolby. To be honest, I don't really care about the light. I'm worried the Dolby itself is not working. Toasted
I guess one way would be to play audio and with audio notifications off, turn Dolby on and off and listening for a difference. Plug the charging cable in to the headset and turn it off, does the Charging LED light up?
Brian48
Sorry. Been busy at work. I think LED is dead. It's not coming on no matter what I do. That said, I do think Dolby is probably enabling though. I was able to DL a few Dolby surround sound test files and was able to tell a difference when toggling on/off via the software. A little disappointed that this headset is cheaply made. It does sound good, but I suspect this unit will not last very long. Considering the cost, I guess you get what you pay for.
Toasted
You can consider contacting your retailer and asking if they can replace it for you or request an RMA to replace it via Corsair. Corsair does provide a two year warranty for the headset, so if you do encounter any problems, just submit a ticket to them. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
