aceisme
I've just installed the latest Corsair Link 4 software and for some reason the Corsair Link 4 Service is continuously accessing my Hard Drive, like every 2 seconds or so. It's like always reading or writing on the hard drive. Any solution to stop this apart from closing Link down or uninstalling it?
DevBiker
This is an ongoing complaint/issue. This is due to the CPUID SDK reading the drive temps etc. It's on the list for a fix but when that will be is unknown. You can delete the CPUIDSDK.dll from the services folder ... that will effectively put an end to it. However, you won't have any system temp readings, just the reading from Link devices. aceisme
Thanks for that. I'll look into it. I only use it for AIO cooler temperature, pump speed and PSU fan control. Anything else is nice to have but I can live without.
aceisme
CPUIDSDK.dll from the CorsairLink4 folder? Is this file you are referring to?
DevBiker
Yeah. Now ... be aware that you won't have ANY system sensor readings if you do this. Only readings from Link devices. I'd actually suggest renaming it ... CPUIDSDK.dl_ works.
