k65 rgb K65 Pro Mouse Disconnects While Playing Games

I play a lot of Overwatch and it seems that there is a problem where my mouse will disconnect and reconnect. The Windows device removal sound will happen and everything will be unresponsive for a second before I can regain control. Even more occasionaly, when this happens, I will lose some of the functionality like the scroll wheel and the rgb lights will turn off.

I'm not sure if this is connected to the game, the system or the mouse. This only seems to be happening when I'm playing a game and using my mouse vigorously.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled iCue recently but that didn't help. Has anyone else experience this problem?
