mattlach
Hi all, The quite fan profile used to be pretty good on my H110i GTX, but with the upgrade to windows 10 and 3.2.5676, the quiet fan profile is suddenly MUCH louder, for seemingly no reason (CPU temps are stiil very low) Has this been intentional? Thanks, Matt

mattlach
So, while I DO have the issue mentioned above, the fan profiles also seem to have changed with the latest release, and spin up much higher for the same Cooler temp.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted August 3, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 3, 2015 We're tweaking the fan profiles on the GT/GTX coolers due to a custom fan curve issue we found with them. The best I can ask is that you just bear with us, or switch to a fixed fan speed, which is what I tend to do.
Frostburn
I have noticed the same thing, before I couldn't hear my fans when I was just browsing the web or doing light gaming. Now I can hear a whine from them all the time. I was going to set a fixed fan speed but it won't allow me to go below 40%. What is the ideal work around for now? Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted August 4, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 4, 2015 Unfortunately 40% is as low as they'll go. :|
