JJJMan Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Upgraded to the most recent version earlier this week. was working great ever since. today it started freezing and needing to be restarted (yet it stayed in the taskbar and i could just show it again) tried an un-install/reinstall, tried rebooting machine, every time i have the application open, it lasts between 1:00 to 1:30 before it freezes up Windows 8.1 x64 X99 5930K corsair Dom Plat 3200 EVGA GTX 980 any thoughts or something i havent tried? JJJMan Posted July 28, 2015 Author Share Posted July 28, 2015 negative its a brand new setup. system is very stable ive run lots of different stress tests without issue and CL monitors temps and fan speeds. the ONLY thing i can think of is that i have both the CL and H110i GT USB headers plugged into a NZXT IU01 USB Expansion card. (X99 only has one USB header) and perhaps having both plugged in is causing a conflict? but if i unplug it i lose access to those fan controls and CL knowing its a pump vs a fan. thank you for replying! i appreciate any insight. Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted July 29, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 29, 2015 My gut instinct is that it's running into some kind of conflict with another piece of software. I actually had it flat out take down a Windows 10 machine when OCCT was opened, although that was an earlier version. Try using the just-released 3.2 version, which uses a new bootloader.
