Metaclay
Hi, this is my first build. I use Corsair HX1000 psu and i want to power up my Asus strix 1080ti. This graphic card has 2x 8pin. From the hx1000 package i can't find that 2x8pin so which cable should i use ? I got 4 pcie cable included in the hx1000 package but i'm confused it's 6+2 which than slit into another 6+2. Is it the right cable to use for my strix 1080ti ? can i just plug it in ? or do i have to use 2 (seperated) 6+2 cable for single 1080ti ? cplifj
use two cables, each one 6+2 going to an 8 pin connector. Do not use the second plug on a single cable for daisychaining to the second 8 pin on the card. Use seperate cables, the 6+2 is what makes it 8 pin.
