  1. Well a good one here being that I had sent back my 3 QL 120 fans because I had a broken wire on my Node Core which in that case I had to send them back as a part of a warranty swap. Well, anyways, I still had my 1 QL 120 fan as an exhaust in the back of my Lian Li 011XL Case, so I decided to purchase a 3 pack SP120 Pro RGB with the Node Core while waiting for my other Node Core and replacement QL120 fans. When I linked the QL120 fan and the SP120 Pro RGB fans to the same Node Core, the QL fan mode in iCue worked the same. Now in my spare build housed in the Corsair 200R, I have a Commander Pro with 6 fans attached while I have 3 of the same SP120 Pro RGB Fans I took out of the Lian Li Case once I got my replacement QL120 fans back along with the Node Core along with the ML120 Pro RGB Fans that came with the new H150i Pro Cappelix AIO I installed into my Lian Li Case (My Main Rig) into my spare Corsair 200R case which has inside no Motherboard Controlled RGB Ports at all. I set the mode into the SP RGB Pro Mode, and the ML Pro Fans work in unison with the SP Pro RGB Fans just fine. Obviously this was only done because I used the existing LL120 fans to work with the Corsair Commander Core in my main rig. To sum it up, I never experienced this until I installed my SP120 Pro RGB, and paired it with the QL120 RGB Fans.
  2. Yes I’m interested as well! If those steps don’t work, a ticket hopefully to get in touch with a Corsair Representative hopefully will help you. Please let us know how and when your issue is resolved.
  3. Just a suggestion, I don’t know if you have a Gigabyte Motherboard, but if you do, and you have RGB Fusion, close out the program and attempt the firmware update again to see what happens. If you don’t have both Gigabyte and Fusion, then it’s some other program running that’s conflicting with the Firmware update. I know this because there was an earlier post (don’t know if it’s on this thread) stating so, and by following the steps, the firmware update took no more than 30 seconds.
  4. Anyone who has Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion there is a conflict between that and iCue when updating the Cappelix. I have the H150i Cappelix, and had encountered the same issue, and when reading the prior posts, I closed out the RGB Fusion, went to the update for the Cappelix, and everything worked. This was also after I uninstalled and reinstalled iCue. Doesn’t matter what Gigabyte Motherboard you have. As long as you have both RGB Fusion and iCue, there for some reason is a conflict between the two programs. Hope this helps anyone else who has the same issue.
  5. Well to sum it up, the existing lead you would use between the Commander Pro, or the Node Pro to the RGB Fan Controller works just fine with the Gigabyte RGB Fusion as long as you plug everything the right way! No splicing or extra wiring is required. You don’t need to change the RGB Controller just for changing the SP to a HD or any other as the RGB Fan Controller is compatible with all Corsair RGB Fans. I’m still using the Commander Pro to Control for extra USB 2.0 headers I need such as the RM1000i and H100iV2, so that leaves an extra available USB 2.0 internal port available just in case. I’m still using my SP120RGB fans for 2 extra fans used for the Hard Drive Cage inside My Lian Li PC08WX Case for extra RGB Bling. I will soon Post a video. Sadly though my Corsair Keyboard and Mouse Peripherals which require Cue, or iCue is not compatible with Aorus. At least I will have usage for both of them on other computers I’ve built.
  6. The Corsair rgb fan controller has a lead for the SATA power on one end, and the plug where you can either connect the remote controller, or the 2 wire lead which already has the connections for data and ground. I already checked my Gigabyte Aorus X299 Gaming 7 which has the cable for both 12V and 5V, so will consider doing a test with my extra RGB fan Controller box I took out of my computer case along with my spare SP120RGB fans to see if this works. There shouldn’t be any issue at all since in the video it shows connecting just those 2 cables to the certain leads in which the plug already has with mine. I still may use the Node Pro for the RGB Strips, and use Link for both the RM1000i power supply and H100iV2 cooler. Basically I had a compatibility issue using my K68, and K55 keyboards along with the Strafe and K65 mouse using both Cue and iCue in which due to Aorus’s RGB frequency, those will freeze up and disconnect. Again, more or less I’m looking for the right 1,2 scenario where I won’t have to use too many things with my RGB stuff in my PC.
