ricjuh
Hello fellow corsair users, I had build a system with 3 LL120 fans connected to a Lightning node pro and LED hub. This works like a charme. Now i bought a 240 AiO cooler and swapped the stock fans with SP120 RGB ones. I ordered these without RGB controller since i still have 3 open spots on my led hub. Now i come to the conclusion that these SP fans are not recognized by iCue when i add them to the led hub that came with my LL fans. Do i really need to buy a 2nd led hub to add the 2nd channel on the lightning node?
Zotty
Do i really need to buy a 2nd led hub to add the 2nd channel on the lightning node? Hi buddy.. yes you do.. SP RGB works in a totally different way to Corsairs other RGB Fans. more here on Corsairs RGB ecosystem http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880 also.. what cooler did you get?.. SP RGB Fans are 3 pin voltage controlled for power.. most AIO's need PWM fans....
PJH
Hey, hey! You cannot have different brands of Corsair fans on the same RGB Fan Hub, so yes, you will need a second RGB Fan Hub for the SP fans.
