Mnpctech.com
Thanks Mike! My modding friend, FannBlade offered his fabrication skills to create replica scale wwII Bomb from scratch, using all aluminum. The replica will be suspended in the front intake, and for those interested, this could be designed as liquid cooling reservoir too, FannBlade is imagining an acrylic tube inserted and the fittings out the back side and make top removable. Mnpctech.com
I've been a fan of FannBlade's fab work for several years, his background focuses on metal fabrication for street rod and racing cars, so I was honored when he offered to make this replica for me. It was his decision to dump the foam for the aluminum. You can see why it would make a nifty reservoir, but that would have to be stainless, not aluminum. otherwise we pondered idea of seating an acrylic res inside this aluminum core. http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_missle_bomb_replica5.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9c.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9d.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9e.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9f.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9g.jpg http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/corsair_900_d_ww2_bomber_case_mod_paint_missle_bomb_replica9h.jpg
