Linkz5
UPDATE: These are the lines from the logs: [2015-04-24T19:40:41]: Failed to copy file. [2015-04-24T19:40:42]: Firmware Download: Aborting idle process not supported. How did you guys update the firmware? Current specs: CUE: 1.5.108 FW: 1.13 My steps: - Updated CUE to 1.5.108 - Tried to update firmware to 1.20, immediately says "failed to update device firmware" - Uninstalled CUE completely - Cold boot - Reinstalled CUE 1.5.108 - Cold boot - Tried to update firmware to 1.20, immediately says "failed to update device firmware" - Downloaded firmware 1.15 (found a download link in forums because corsair is too lazy to give them) - Tried to update firmware to 1.15, immediately says "failed to update device firmware" - Cold boot - Unplugged keyboard - Plugged in keyboard, arrow USB first, then keyboard USB - Tried to update firmware to 1.20, immediately says "failed to update device firmware" I am very frustrated. The reason I am on 1.13 instead of 1.15 is because 1.15 was awful and froze my profiles on caps/scroll/num lock press. Please. For the sake of all that is holy. I just want to use the new updates. EDIT: Last step was to firmware 1.20, made a typo and did 1.10.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted April 24, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 24, 2015 Have you tried using a different USB port?
Linkz5
Yes. I have 4 USB 2.0's and I tried all of them. I did not try a reboot when trying different ones.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted April 24, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 24, 2015 If you have a different system, see if you have better luck with the USB connection. If not, contact our tech support and they can help you flash the keyboard.

Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted April 25, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 25, 2015 Logs seem to indicate the keyboard isn't linking with the software through the USB. Did the Corsair virtual driver update on your system when you installed the latest software?
Linkz5
Try closing CUE, then running it as administrator. This allowed me to update to firmware 1.20. I did a cold boot and it malfunctioned. I unplugged and replugged, still malfunction. I then went to my devices and updated the usb drivers and it works. After another cold boot it malfunctioned again. Maybe I will have to play with it a bit so I can reboot and not go through the hassle to get the lights working again. But, at least I am on FM 1.20. Thank you, Jason and Mashuto. mashuto
Glad it worked! I was having the same issue, so I tried that. Havent rebooted since though, so not sure what will happen, but I may just have to set CUE to run as administrator on boot.
