Andre_de_fast
Good afternoon! Recently, my PC made an explosion like sound which I believe was originated from my PSU, causing the failure of the corresponding element of thw line. Luckily, after I connected the system to a different power line of the house, it functioned without problems. Although I proceeded to upgrading the the power board of the house, which was outdated in the first place, I'm still worried about the PSU unit safety and the possible problems that a similar event could cause in the future if repeated. Do you have any suggestions or any possible way to check if my psu is fine to operate or it needs replacement? Thanks for your time!

Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted October 24, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 24, 2020 Patras, Greece I would put in a ticket with Corsair to have the PSU replaced. I've seen similar symptoms with a TX-M with the exact same lot code do the same thing and it eventually failed.

Well, 202948 ≠ 200148. So you have that going for you.
