Levest28
The firmware on my K95 RGB has been updating extremely slowly; about 1% every ~40-50 seconds I'm at 65% right now, but this is really ridiculous. The first time I updated firmware when I got the keyboard it only took seconds. http://puu.sh/cRdCh/34d328f8cf.jpg
Levest28
Ok, so it just got to 100% and said the update completed; but I'm still at 1.13... http://puu.sh/cRfbN/0fc2c6057e.jpg
Levest28
I've sort of "solved" this. Turns out cue was trying to install the firmware update onto my microphone... thanks... I've posted more on it now that I've figured this out about it over in this topic: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=134457 Specifically this post: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showpost.php?p=741870&postcount=

Levest28
PS, my microphone doesn't work anymore. Any time I open Ventrilo I get this error. Then my keyboard freezes and I have to reboot. http://puu.sh/cSlKi/beeacc7027.png
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted November 16, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 16, 2014 Uninstall CUE, delete all the files, and unplug your microphone. Reinstall CUE 1.2.77, run the FW update on the keyboard, and then re-connect your microphone. Also, were you using USB 2.0 or 3.0?
Levest28
The firmware is up to date, I got that working before, but the issue is I still can't use my keyboard and mic at the same time. As soon as I start trying to use my mic, they both lock up (and it appears the light effect data is trying to be sent to my mic) I've uninstalled CUE, deleted all the files, unplugged mic, reinstalled CUE, it works. Plug in mic and talk, both crash. In general I'm using USB 2 because it seems to run smoother from reading around, but I've tried both 2 and 3 for at least a day each now, and have the same issue. I've got fed up to the point I've just completely re-installed windows from scratch (Windows 8.1 64-bit) in hopes to fix it, no luck. The issue persists. Please look into this :(
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted November 19, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 19, 2014 What is the brand and model of your microphone? Do you have a second system to confirm if you can use both hardware simultaneously as well?
Levest28
My microphone is a Blue Snowball iCE. I tried them on another system and they work together. HOWEVER: They worked together on this system before, so I'm thinking it's something to do with the SW/FW that's been updated or such to cause issues with the USB controller. PS, both systems I tried it on are a Gigabyte motherboard.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted November 21, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 21, 2014 That is odd Levest. See if you can reset/re-flash the BIOS to see if it helps as if the combination worked on a different system, I would agree with you that there seems to be an issue with the USB controller on the faulty system. Levest28
I have just reflashed the bios, and also tried clearing CMOS for the heck. No change. As I said I don't beleive it's an issue right with the motherboard, because they worked on this system before the past few updates.
