toneti
I have 2 Vengance LPX 2x8Gb memory modules at 3000Mhz. So far windows 10 detected 16GB of installed memory, but suddenly it has started to detect 15.9GB. It appears as installed memory, not as in other cases where it appears as recognized memory. Investigating, I have seen that they are 64mb that have been lost. Instead of appearing 16384mb, 16320mb appear. I know that it is very little and it does not matter but I am afraid that some module has been damaged. I created a boot with memtest and passed a complete test and no errors appear. Memetest also detects 15.9Gb. Does anyone know where those mb may have gone? I don't have integrated graphics, Windows not detect it as memory reserved for hardware, etc.
c-attack
You'll have to ask Microsoft about that, but my 16 GB has been 15.9 for a long time. I suspect it comes from conversion rounding, but you are not missing memory and hopefully you are not down to your last 64 MB.
