  1. one way to fix audio hangs or unresponsive system, broswer, network or streaming videos hangs is to restart the "windows audio" service. You might need to help the restart by manually terminating the audiodg.exe
  2. I have found many weird things as well like yours when the nic hangs or the youtube stream stops. You need to restart the "windows audio" service and perhaps manually terminate the audiodg.exe if the service doesn't restart within like 5 seconds. Kind of a hassle to be doing that every couple of hours.
  3. issue is that I have found is the audiodg crashes and even stuff like network card can hang up. What you need to do is to restart the service "windows audio" and if needed (if the service waits for shutting it down) is to terminate the audiodg.exe Or just perhaps use an older icue :)
