Yea this thing is flawed. For some reason every time you boot up your computer all the lights outside your computer room turn off.

Changing the color sequence from Spiral Rainbow fixed this problem for me. I had to download a program called USBDeview to even know that it was the H100i Platinum that kept disconnecting.
