le3francis Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 7.1 not been detected by windows 7 and also the EQ settings dont seem to be functioning in CUE through the headset. Has anyone found any other fixes to get the headset working in 7.1 surround sound? Tried everything i could find on these forums. Thanks in advance ! Toasted Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Does CUE detect the headset normally? Have you check whether games detect the headset as a 7.1 device? Open Device Manager, expand 'sound...controllers, right click the headset and click properties. Click the driver tab and see whether Windows is currently using the Corsair drivers or the generic Microsoft drivers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

le3francis Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share Posted January 6, 2016 Solved. Disabling windows driver siganture enforcement and reinstalling fresh fixed everything. My headset is now fully working after 2 days of trying. I no longer recieve a ! next to my headset in Devices and printers. Hope this helps anybody having same issues.
