  1. Was only solved by replacing the pump(entire cooler). We had to do an advanced RMA.
  2. Sorry... if I understood correctly. Your case has a standard fan hub inside. Your H100 didn't bring a commander core? Older version ? From the list below, which product is yours ? https://www.corsair.com/br/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/c/Cor_Products_Cooling
  3. Very similar issue to mine, but I am on a Capellix. Enjoy the read...
  4. New H170i Arrived (Advanced RMA). Good news and bad news: Bad: - New installation method for AM4. Doesn't sit very well with the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro - Temperatures are 5-7 degrees celsius higher - Misc bag didn't include the fully needed thumbscrews, so had to "snatch" two from my previous H170i Good: - Pump appearing and can be controlled from iCue. - This mounting bracket is much easier to work with as it uses the preexisting holes/backplate in the motherboard instead of the method that resembled the Socket A coolers (Board stabbers... if you know.. you know.. 🙂 ) Potential work that I might do over the weekend: - Use the commander core that came with this Cooler instead of the one that Corsair sent me before. - Buy new decent Thermal Paste and apply it again, as I am using an older one by thermal grizzly. - Fully Reinstall iCUE. And a massive shout out to Mathew B. from Corsair CS as he was an absolute hero in every single step!
  5. New update: - New Commander Core arrived - Clean uninstall of iCUE - Clean install of iCUE Same results. Waiting on support to decide on next actions. I am starting to suspect a dead pump... if that is the case, looks like I'll have to use my old NZXT x63 until I get the H170i RMAed.
  6. Not a bother, just trying to help! Also.. I forgot to add this earlier. Was posting from the phone and forgot to add this image. There you will see the 3-Pin fans and the 4 Pin fans 3 Pin are usually controlled by voltage 4 Pin are PWM (Pulse With Modulation) The Commander Core XT is a PWM Fan Controller and a RGB hub, so no matter what trick you can do, you'll never be able to control the speed of 3-Pin Fans, only 4 Pin. Also.. I don't know if the rules allow this, but if they don't.. lets hope the mods edit the post instead of banning me... I had this site in my favourites from when I was trying to understand what I could do with some 3-pin leftover fans I had lying around https://www.futurescope.co/are-3-pin-fans-controllable/ Hope it helps in any way!
  7. People have been having and detecting issues with firmware updates on Commanders. I don't know if that would be a wise choice.
  8. Did you do a firmware upgrade to the Commander Core?
  11. You are having similar behaviours to what many people are reporting. It seems that an iCUE update/firmware upgrade has damaged Commander Cores. Corsair will be sending me a new one...
  12. Good old phone call. 🙂 https:/www.corsair.com/eu/en/contact
  13. I've reached out to the Corsair Support team(2005898879) and they seem to believe that the Commander Core might be damaged, so they will send me a new one. Will update this thread when I have more news.
  14. Well.. profiles are the only thing working for me. Pump and cpu temps are messed up after the firmware update. 😐
  15. I sorted mine by creating a new profile and setting it up there, setting it as default as well. I think this iCUE version shouldn't have passed QA 🙂
  16. OK.. if you want to apply the Extreme preset to a specific fan, you actually need to go to each fan, where it says "balanced" and select the profile you want. 🙂 Not very intuitive, I know. 😄
  17. From your image Top side - Connect RGB 4 pin cables Bottom side - Connect Power PWM 4 pin cables. Right side - Press it in properly - CPU Cooler connector Left side - SATA Connection for Power, SYS_FAN connector to MB and an optional temp sensor connector. I don't see the yellow tags stating "TO RGB HUB" on your top side. Are those Corsair fans ? Here's a look at mine:
  18. You mean this? https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/Commander-CORE-RGB-%26-PWM-Fan-Controller/p/CW-8960071
  19. Current issues: - Pump doesn't seem to be working - Temps at idle on ~60 Celsius - Pump has no lighting whatsoever - H170i doesn't appear in iCUE - Commander Core appears in Other Devices(https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052297652-What-to-do-if-your-Elite-Capellix-liquid-CPU-cooler-is-not-detected-by-iCUE), but H170i doesn't. Didn't try the supposed reset button in Commander Core, as I am working and rely too much on this PC for it.
  20. Many people are inclined to believe that the latest firmware / drivers messed things up. My situation is: - H170i not appearing in iCUE - No lighting whatsoever on my Pump - I seem to get more FAN/Cooling performance without iCUE.
