  1. This probably seems like a stupid question but is there a particular orientation the 1700 standoffs are supposed to be screwed in? I genuinely can't tell if both ends are the same length/width though they both seem to be able to be screwed into the backplate Also, should the standoffs have some wiggle to them once screwed into the backplate (before the pump if attached that is)
  2. So I basically just have to run both the Commander Core and the Node Pro and keep the cooler and it's fans to the core and whatever lights to the Node Pro and that booster (for my older ML fans)? At least my hoarding of random PC parts has come in handy for once haha
  3. Just to add, I do have the two devices below (one of which is the Lighting Nod Pro I think) and some ML RGB fans from an old build, assuming these are still compatible, might I be able to use them in conjunction with the CORSAIR RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit?
  4. So I'm putting together a new build which is going to include the 5000D Airflow and the Elite Capellix H115i. I'm trying to figure out what I need to get to add RGB strips/lights to the case interior. There's so many different variants of controllers and strips that I'm not sure which I should be looking at. There's the CORSAIR RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit but it says it requires the Lighting Node PRO or Commander PRO but I'm wondering the Commander Core that comes with the Capellix cooler will work? Or is there a different RGB strip set I should be looking at
  5. I understand that the manual mentions to upgrade the firmware first, but the question is, will it actually break/damage either the cooler or LCD component if the firmware update is done after the screen is installed? So I'm not asking about what the correct way to do it is but rather, can I actually render the product unusable if I do it the wrong way around. i.e. can the 'general fault (!) error' be fixed
  6. I'm hoping someone might have already been through this and can let me know what order to do things. So I'm going to be getting H115i and the LCD Upgrade. In the LCD Upgrade's manual it talks about the cooler's firmware needs to be up to date. Does it have to be done in this order? Or can I install the screen on the cooler, then install the cooler and finally update the cooler's firmware to make the screen work? Otherwise I'll have to install the cooler stock to get the firmware updated and then turn everything back off to work on the computer and install the screen on the cooler after the fact
