I recently received the Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless headset as a gift, and I really like the headset except for one major problem - it will randomly beep so loud that my ears are in agony. I have no idea why it beeps, there's no consistency to it. Sometimes the beeps are gone for a long time. Sometimes it's just one. Sometimes it's over and over. I also have no idea why they are so much louder than anything playing in the headset (the headset is ridiculously loud in general too, my volume at just an 8 is already pushing it). At this point, I would love to reduce the volume on this thing which seems impossible, but mainly I want the beeps just plain gone forever. They're a horrible sound and volume of them makes the headset effectively unusable - I'm not okay with random beeps making my ears hurt.
I've tried absolutely everything I can find through extensive google searching. I turned on voice prompts, and the voice is nice, but it ALSO still beeps randomly. I turned off auto shut down. I fully charged the headset. I force updated the firmware. iCue is up to date. I tried another USB slot for the dongle. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm very close or quite far from the dongle. I edited the USB power settings to not be turned off. At one thread's suggestion, I even deleted all of the sound files found in C:\Program Files\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE 4 Software\sounds\default - that removed some beeps, and the entirety of the voice (I'd prefer to keep the voice if I could), but somehow, some way, some beeps still remain. I've probably tried other things I can't remember at this point. I have no clue what else to try, I'm just beyond frustrated.
1) So how can I permanently turn off ALL beeps on this headset?
Bonuses:
2) How can I have ALL the beeps gone, but keep the voice prompts?
3) How do I turn down the overall volume on this thing because I can't really run it above an 8, and that's very little control.
