  1. Hey everyone, I'm having a bad Saturday. This morning I decided to poke through iCUE and noticed that my H100i had a firmware update available. I clicked on the "Update now" and BAM! My Saturday took a turn for the worst. The firmware update failed. The pump went dark. I tried and tried again. Nothing. Kept failing. I rebooted like a dummy thinking it would show back up and I'd try again. Nope. Now it's missing in iCUE. I did a bunch of research and found its a common problem (why is this so common?). Thankfully, because it is common, there's a good amount of info from others that have had the issue. I was able to grab the .hex file from appdata\local\temp and saved it for safe keeping. I attempted the "xmcbootloader.exe" approach but it just fails with: Loading Firmware Image ... Check. Done Looking for device 0x0C20 ... Found Waiting 6 seconds for USB activity to subside. Connecting to Bootloader ........... Unable to Connect. Reconnecting to Bootloader ....... Unable to Connect. Reconnecting to Bootloader ....... Unable to Connect. Reconnecting to Bootloader ....... Unable to Connect. Reconnecting to Bootloader ... Error Unable to connect to device. I've rebooted into Safe Mode I don't know how many times and tried, same result. I've uninstalled iCUE and reinstalled, same result. I've reinstalled Windows, same result. I've changed USB header locations, same result. I'm at a complete loss and not really happy. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've submitted a ticket (maybe one day they'll get back to me?) and sent them a tweet in the hopes that does something. If anyone has any other ideas on how to breathe some life back into this, I'd be extremely grateful. Cheers and thanks everyone!
