  1. I also have been through multiple kits (you can see my journey earlier in the thread), and I also RMA'ed one only to have the replacement kit have the same problem. The color temp's are a little different as well but I could live with that if they would just work! @Corsair Nick - sent you a PM w/ my previous ticket. Really hoping I don't have to pay for another round of shipping to replace the replacement.
  2. Too late for refund on this one, and even if I could - I'm nervous about Newegg doing some kind of shadowban on me for the repeated returns. Painting the picture: I'm trying to get two, fully working sets of Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 4000 (PC4 32000) Desktop Memory Model CMT32GX4M2K4000C19. At over $500 per package (after tax - $1K in total) I'm expecting them to - you know - work! The journey (so far): 11/13 - Ordered 2 sets - Set A and Set B 11/27 - Set B failed; submitted for return 11/27 - Ordered Set C 12/30 - Set C failed, returned 12/31 - Ordered Set D (still working as of 2/11 - although the color temp is off from set A slightly, i'm sucking it up) 2/11 - Set A failed; now I will have to submit through RMA at Corsair as i'm out of the return window at Newegg Corsair - if you're listening - this has been an epic pain to deal with. I bought in to your whole ecosystem (fans, hydro x custom components, iCue) to theoretically make my life easier, and I am seriously starting to regret it. In all cases, the same issue: the Red LEDs fail in one or more places on one or more of the the sticks.
  3. Here we go again..... just had another stick fail. That makes 3 of 4 sets that have failed. All the same issue: the red somewhere on the stick has failed. This one finally failed about 2.5 months in.
  4. I believe the colors that aren't working are the colors that require more from the red LED... the issues seem to center around the red LEDs...
  5. Just another chiming in... 2 of the 3 sets of DDR4-4000 plat pro memory I've ordered have had various Red LEDs stop functioning. Very disappointing for this kind of spend! I had 3 kits total, CMT32GX4M2K4000C19. In 1 of the kits, both sticks had red LEDs failed. RMAs that kit, got replacement. Now one of the red LEDs in the new kit has failed. So far one kit is standing strong but I'm watching it like a hawk.
