  1. I had an issue like that, too, and found out that I had stressed the connection from my MB to the hub too much when cable managing. It pulled out a little and I couldn't see things either. Check your USB connections, make sure they are firmly inserted.
  2. Update: installed the NZXT hub with the Commander Pro, Lighting Node Core, H100i plat plugged into it two days ago. No disconnects or USB nonsense since then. Seems to be working fine. Previously it was happening every 15-30 minutes.
  3. NXZT hub finally fixed it for me. Stupid to have to spend an extra 25 bucks and weeks of extra time just to fix something that should have worked out of the box.
  4. My powered nzxt hub is being delivered later this week, since the off brand unpowered hub didn't work for me. For those of you having success with the nzxt hub, do you have your commander plugged into the hub? Or to one of the other slots on your mb? When i watch my usb disconnects, it seems like it's the commander that is mostly dropping and coming back, so i am wondering if i should put all 3 usb devices on the hub (commander, node core, aio) or keep one of them on my mb - i'm pretty annoyed at opening up my case to mess with it at this point. how did you hook it up?
  5. I made an account to say it's also happening to me. Super frustrating culmination to a new build. I'm using the x570 Prime Pro, like a lot of people, along with the Commander, H100i plat, and the Lighting Node Core (6 QL's hooked up to it). Since my motherboard only has 2 USB 2.0 headers, when I ordered the parts I figured that I could just hook the H100i and the Node Core up through the Commander. I didn't know about this issue. I built a few days ago, couldn't get the H100i and the Node Core to show up in icue, and found this thread. Since it seemed like a USB hub was supposed to resolve the issue, and the NZXT was is sold out everywhere, I ordered this one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076Q8685Y/ It showed up today and I just installed it, with the H100i and the Node Core hooked up through it. I can see the H100i and the Node Core in iCue now, and I can control them, which is a step better than before. However, it has not stopped the constant USB disconnects and reconnects and sounds. In the meantime, this is what I’ve done and it’s made it more manageable: • Since I wanted a solid white color anyway, I’ve set the fan profiles and lights on my stuff in icue and saved them to hardware profiles so I don’t have to keep icue running all the time. That’s seemed to help. • Went through my power management options and set it so the computer can’t turn off USB devices. Also did the same in device manager and made it so the computer can’t turn off USB devices to save power. • Uninstalled Armory crate, since that seemed to mess with things, and just set up motherboard stuff in Aura, then closed it. • Turned off the usb connect/disconnect sound in windows, since it was driving me insane. All this to say, I don’t think the problem is fixed, but it’s made it much more tolerable. It still happening occasionally, I think. It’s hard to tell now that I set everything in hardware profiles. But at least the sound isn’t driving me insane anymore.
