I had the same issue. It's seems to be fixed now that I've changed from the rainbow setting. A bit disappointed that it took a lot of research to pin it down to the Corsair. Like Isomelos I was thinking it could be a motherboard, PSU, hardware etc issue. Thank goodness I came across this forum otherwise parts would have been bought without a need. In my research I came across this resource which links to a useful USB tool for identifying problem devices.
