Thanks for the tip on iCUE, i checked and was already up to date, and I have tried the reset before.... I'm not sure. I'm ruling out an OS issue because I swap out multiple drives on the X58 and all OS's do it with the K95 but none with my Logitech K400. They both work flawlessly on my X299 system however, never an issue. I'm leaning more towards the K95 having an issue with the USB 2.0 ports (doesn't have any 3.0) or USB controller on the motherboard maybe?.... I constantly get double presses, it's driving me mad. I wonder if a PCIe USB 3.0 card would help :/ The problem is when you have 2 pieces of hardware not playing together if I go on the corsair forums, they be like, its the board. If I go to EVGA, they be like, it's the K95.

Hey, I have a K95 Platinum and when I'm using it with my X58 system (yes, yes, it's old) I have an issue. I will often get double key presses. For example, when I press space I get two spaces, or when I press Ctrl+V it pastes twice. It's getting really annoying constantly having to go back to remove characters. Is there anything I can do to fix this? :sigh!:
