  1. My CPU and cooler are running too hot, and it's gradually gotten worse since its initial purchase (nearly 2 years ago). I clean out the filters and dust often enough, and I had the the PC put together professionally (after I had a bad experience with a dead motherboard) so I'm pretty confident the thermal paste was applied correctly and the heatsink and backplate are seated properly, although I plan to check again. I'm certain the correct bracket was used. The PC is less than 2 years old, so I don't think the thermal paste would have worn through, not to mention my CPU temps don't jump crazy fast upon load, but they do steadily rise to high temperatures. Idle Temperatures are very high for an AIO CPU cooler. Room temperature is almost always 20° or less. https://i.imgur.com/clzboO7.png Other than the "Motherboard 5" temperature being high, all the other temperatures seem fine to me. This is also with a custom fan curve, although it's comparable to Balanced/Performance presets. The Quiet preset idles closer to 60°C on the CPU. Assassin's Creed: Origins (my most CPU-intensive game) usually has my CPU Package peaking at 80° C, usually averaging 72-78°C. As you can see from the picture I linked, the water (or temp at the pump) temperature is idling at around 38°C, with 20°C room temperature, and peaks above 50° as can be seen in the linked photo. I'm guessing there is blockage or another issue with the pump, but I don't personally have any experience with this. The radiator is mounted at the top, as exhaust. All my PC specs are in my profile. Let me know if I missed providing any important info. Any help and suggestions are much appreciated (I plan on bringing my PC in but wanted to get some expert opinions here first!) Thanks for any help! EDIT: Also, unfortunately the i7-5820k doesn't come with a stock CPU cooler, so I don't have another to test, although at a Hyper 212 EVO's price point, perhaps it's worth buying even just for testing...
