I'm in the UK so there are certainly the relevant authorities, but I am going to give Corsair more time to respond before having to go down that route.

I posted that quote when logging the support ticket - The reply was just that the NG10 N970 does not work with the H80i GT. Sorry for the inconvenience. More than just a [insert suitably 'naughty' word here] inconvenience for me! At least the post above yours suggests that the 980 bracket will work with the H80i GT so you should be OK when the bracket is finally released.

Unfortunately this is certainly true for the HG10 N970 and regretfully I do feel swindled out of my time and money!

Just a word of caution to anyone considering getting the 970 model (No idea if this applies to any of the other models or not). The 970 model is NOT compatible with ALL of the Hydro Series coolers even though the website clearly states that it is. Specifically the H80i GT version is not compatible (according to support). The H80i GT is even specifically mentioned in the installation manual that comes with the cooler when it is talking about which mounting bracket to use for which cooler. However it is impossible to install the mounting bracket without using excessive force or physically 'adapting' the mounting bracket. I purchased a H80i GT along with the rest of my upgrade purely for the HG10 as and when it became available only to find out that it does not work with this cooler... but according to support - it will work with the previous H80i (Really handy to know that now!). Can someone from Corsair please produce a compatibility list for the coolers that CAN be used to help prevent anyone else from encountering the same problem as well as get the wording on the website amended?
