  1. Well I personally would put that down to bad design as the mouse is 4 months old and already showing this issue. I can't take it apart as that would void warranty, blasting air in did nothing for me. Thanks.
  2. Hi LazyT, I returned my Scimitar RGB Pro because of the same reason multiple times and now have the same issue with the Scimitar RGB Elite which is the successor model. I will be returning it to the vendor I purchased it from for a replacement. What I did notice was that the mouse wheel was a bit stiff / had friction at the beginning. My Elite is 4 months old and has started showing the issues you mentioned. I don't know what the cause is as the mice always failed within the warranty period.
