  1. Dear all, Recently I've been experiencing booting issue with my 8-ish year old build. Black screen No external device connects (not even the lights of my keyboard which is the first thing to light up). The decoder is displaying "00" which on Intel's website indicate simply "random boot issue" After some googling, I found that after removing and reinserting the RAM modules, I am able to boot normally again.. for a time. As such, after a week or so, the issue returns and I simply repeat the process. I'd like to avoid this being standard and therefor I'm reaching out here as I can't seem to find a permanent solution online. I could buy new RAM modules and give that a try, but I'd like to save the money if possible. I have very good experience with Corsair's warranty team as every issue I've put forward was resolved quickly. Corsair states "Limited Lifetime Warranty" which I suppose is useable to me? My hardware is as such: WIN 10 Pro 64-bit Intel Core i7 4790K Corsair Vengeance Pro 16 GB (2x8) Dual-Channel DDR3 1600 MHz (9-9-9-24) Asus Maximus VII Formula Nvidia GTX 980 2x Samsung SSD 850 Pro 1x Samsung SSD 850 Evo PSU: Seasonic Prime PX-750 The latest edition to the build was the PSU about a year ago. So my questions are: Is my RAM at fault? If so, what's causing it? Is there a permanent fix? Any help is appreciated.
