It indeed was! :praise: unchecked that option in Safety and no more "ba-dongs" while running hwinfo with icue. Now a happy H115i Plat owner! :headbang:

https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027502932-HWiNFO64-conflict-with-coolers-and-iCUE could this be? I was running HWInfo64 throughout. I'm going to test once i get off work, if this works, i might have solved my own problem, ha.

I installed my H115i yesterday and it came with the latest firmware and immediately started getting the disconnecting sound. Tried all the troubleshooting steps, no avail. would hate to have to return it only to get another with, what seems, to be a common issue lately.

Just purchased a H115i Platinum for my 8700K to replace my old H100i. Ever installing it, I'm getting constant disconnecting sounds and my H115i would randomly lose it's settings, fans would go quiet before ramping up back to the correct setting and the RGB will flicker. Like every time the sound occurs the fan would slow down and then once it figures itself again, ramp back up. Both my firmware and software are up-to-date. I read about a similar last year with Steam and iCue and it was supposed to be fix so how come I'm still encountering this issue? It's really annoying.
