jawline
I have the H100 and the fans have suddenly started increasing in RPM making it very loud a couple of hours into a session. I've dropped to stock clocks and I'm having no issues with CPU temperatures according to SpeedFan. Any advice on what could be causing the issue? wa3pnt
The only thing that comes to mind is a buildup of dirt/dust in the radiator that might cause the requirement for a higher fan speed to achieve the same cooling. RodeoGeorge
wytnyt
it could also be a change in ambient temp or perhaps your load is harder than earlier when noticed...
jawline
It's not constant. I noticed that one of my fans isn't running at the same RPM as the other when it spins up. I also reseated it to see if that would help and noticed that there looked like a tiny bit of liquid around the fan. I haven't spilt anything on it so could that be a potential leak? jawline
Load on the CPU is fine. Though I've heard the H100 doesn't use CPU heat and uses something else. Temps with speedfan are graphed and never going above 40. There is no temperature change when the fans speed up
