Shakkalakka
Hey, I own a Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Motherboard, and have TWIN2X2048-6400 installed (Two memory modules - 1 GB each). I tried installing CM2X2048-6400C5 (Single 2GB memory module) along side them, but this caused my computer to freeze completely once my OS started to load. All three memory modules have CL 5-5-5-18. I tried putting the 2x1GB modules in one channel, and the 2 GB memory module in the second channel. I also tried putting 1x1GB module and the 2GB module in one channel, and 1x1 GB memory module in the second channel. Is it possible to make this work in any way? Is it possible to connect an odd number of modules at all? Thanks for the help.
Wired
Never recommended to mix kits. Could try lowering the speed from 800 to 667 or 400.
