digitaldave
I've got an H50 running on an i5-750 that I usually run a stock speeds. However, I've been playing around with oveclocking recently, and I've noticed that I get an intermittent buzzing noise when overclocking. I've checked all the components for correct mounting, and nothing is loose, so it's not that. So far, I've encountered it at 4.0, 3.9, 3.8 and 3.7 GHz (stock is 2.66 GHz). Temps are fine even when running a game, around 60 degrees IIRC. Has anyone else noticed a similar problem? And is there anything that I can do to get rid of it, as I'm worried that the H50 isn't working correctly when it's making that noise, thus risking damage to the CPU. It's not a huge issue as I don't intend to run overclocked very often (only when playing Flight Simulator X), but it would be nice to know if there's an easy solution to this. Thanks, Dave. digitaldave
Never mind, just changed a few things around, and it's not the H50, so I have no idea what it is that's causing the noise (could be something in the case, or something on the motherboard I guess). Back to the drawing board...
