Colin1919 Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 I currently have the following system • Asus P5N-E Sli • Intel Core 2 Duo 3ghz 2 x 1Gb Corsair memory 800Mhz DDR2 Memory 5-5-5-12 And for X-mas I was given the exact same memory except the timing is 5-5-5-18. My motherboard configuration in the BIOS says the timing is all set to automatic. But I wanted to make sure that these two types of timing would be compatible with each other. Also, is there any order I should have these put into my motherboard to get the optimal use of my extra RAM? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
