milkyjoe01 Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 Is it possible to control the speed of the pump by connecting the pumps power supply to a BIOS controlled pin header or mobo fan control programme? If so, is it wise, only for noise purposes? Also can you control the 2 push/pull fans using the motherboards fan control programme even though they are not PWM? djmorgan Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 You should NOT vary the pump RPM at all it needs to run at around 1400 to be most effective. Yes you can have the fans variable but not the fans supplied by Corsair, although you could vary the power to these they would only step down in stages. To get full controll you will need to install PWM fans and then you can control them as you want. Search the forum here as there are many threads on the subject.
