Looking for a AMD compatible 8 GB DDR3-2000 Memory kit

I see the Corsair Dominator GT CMT8GX3M3A2000C9 kit is listed as Ultra-high performance 8GB (2x 4GB) DOMINATOR®GT kit for AMD and Intel® Dual Channel Processors. Is this a good match for use with my ASUS Crosshair IV motherboard? I will be using this with an overclocked AMD Phenom II X6 1055T processor.

The memory will work but you will likely not be able to run it at the full 2000 speed. This is because even when overclocked, the AMD IMC is limited as to what memory speeds the company's CPUs support. Officially, AMD supports memory only up to 1333 speed with two DIMMs (one per channel) installed.

Same thing with my 1600 kit. Just go into your BIOS, manually set the voltages, timings (if necessary, they might be okay already, mine defaulted to CAS9) and then up the memory multiplier so that it's closest to the rated speed of your kit.
