bart393
Hi. i run my 4 gb kit of ram with my mobo 880g extreme3. So it only run with a low frequency, 1333 and not 1600. When i tryed to change timing, and so the voltage my system did not work. So, can u suggest to me the right value for all timing ? because with only the standard 8-8-8-24 not work thx ;)
trackrat
The BIOS will set the RAM to the default values including 1.5V. To run it at 1600 MHz. you need to set the RAM voltage to 1.65V with 8-8-8-24 2T timings. If that does not work you can also try 9-9-9-27 and 11-11-11-30 both @ 1.65V. Understand however that the AMD socket AM3 CPUs including the 955 BE are only guaranteed to run RAM at 1333 MHz. so you may or may not be able to run your RAM at 1600 MHz. depending on the IMC in your CPU.
