crazytony
Hello All, I just want to confirm something. I am currently running TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF on my Asus M3N78 PRO at 1066 with a Phemon II X4 945 CPU. I was thinking of upgrading from 4gig to 6gig but after browsing the forums it looks like I can't run any more memory in my mobo. Can anyone confirm this? Also what the optimum timings for this ram on my mobo Thanks,
trackrat
A simple Google search returns the following info: That memory can run at 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145197&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-Memory-_-NA-_-NA Asus states that the official AMD CPU 1066 MHz. socket AM2+ memory speed is only supported on one DIMM per channel. Asus claims up to 8 GB. capacity with 4 DIMMS - per the memory "specifications" info. at the link below. http://www.asus.com/Product.aspx?P_ID=DVvm9CU0G1bCC4gp
