thediamond
Hi there i am a owner of this motherboard for over 1 year Asus M4A79XTD EVO I have the latest bios upgrade and im wondering if XM3 DDR3 1600mhz will run perfectly stable in my pc? I have a AMD black phenom x4 3.4ghz I have tried ******** memory and it keeps crashing so i would like some advice on what to use stable at 1600mhz from Corsair? I am buying the memory from Novatech.com one of your distributers as i will exchange my unstable ram. I cant seem to find a Compatablity list for corsair and my motherboard? Please Advise me. trackrat
The Corsair approved AMD Phenom II memory link is below. Note that AMD AM3 CPUs are only guaranteed to run RAM at 1333 MHz. Many people have been successful in running DDR3 at 1600 MHz. on Phenom II CPUs but there is never a guarantee above the AMD 1333 MHz. spec for the AMD3 CPUs. http://www.corsair.com/products/phenomii/default.aspx http://support.amd.com/us/Processor_TechDocs/46878.pdf
