likiud
I'm thinking of adding some more memory into my current system: Asus P4C800-E Deluxe Intel P4 2.6GHz HT 2x 512MB Samsung PC3200 DDR400 I believe my ram is running in dual channel right now, but I'm not 100% sure. CPU-Z shows it up as this: http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/4361/ramsq7.png You can see the timings are at 2.5-3-3-8. The voltage is at 2.5V on both sticks. I'm not too knowledgeable about memory configurations. I'd like to know if I get the VS2GBKIT400C3 will it be able to run well in dual channel without taking out my current RAM. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
DerekT
You are advised to drop the DRAM speed from 400Mhz to 333Mhz with a four slot population. You are not advised to mix and match modules though. There is no guarantee or support for mixed and matched modules. They may work, they may not. Sorry that I can't be more illuminating, but it is always a dice throw when upgrading to differently matched modules.
