CandyKid
mine seem to like sitting at 1.75v.. very stable and set on 240fsb 1:1
This seems to be your CPU's vCore setting, not the DDR Voltage.
Shokusugi
Try not to exceed 2.8 volts. PLUR CK
I see 2.6 as the min voltage in my bios... does it mean this is the stock / normal voltage? Thanks..
CandyKid
2.5 volts is the "normal" standard for DDR memory, but is quickly going up due to faster memory speeds. 2.7 is normal for Corsair XMS. PLUR CK
resoluteK
sry - typo. I meant 2.75v..
CandyKid
sry - typo. I meant 2.75v..
I thought that might have been the case, regardless, no harm done. Shokusugi: You'll actually get better overall performance if you keep a 1:1 divider instead of a 5:4. If you can OC your CPU as far as resolutek (240MHz @ 1:1) then that will probably have better memory performance than the setup you're talking about, even with the faster FSB since they'd be in sync. Either way, you'll just have to try and see to tell what your hardware will or won't do, everybody's is different! PLUR CK P.S.
