AdamD
I've allready got 1gb of Corsair Value Select memory, in the form of two 512mb Chips I have the MSI Neo2 Platinum board I thought i'd buy some more memory, but I have a feeling I should've bought 2 1gb sticks, as opposed to a single one? If I install the new 1gb stick in either of the free banks, the system doesn't bootIf I remove the existing 512mb sticks, it does So I assume I have to have 2x512mb sticks and 2x1gb sticks to make my system work? The ram I bought was.... VS1GB400C3 PC3200 1024MB 128Mx64 184 DIMM
CMC_SAVAGE
For 2GB you really should get a TWINX2048 set. You won't be able to mix the RAM like you are trying to do.
AdamD
Eh damn I Was kinda hoping it was mixable :( This reminds me of the old pentium 1 days, with EDO memory having to be in pairs:biggrin:
