MnkyVirgo Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 I haven't messed with RAM in several years; but I'm interested in upgrading my RAM. I currently have 1 GB via twin CORSAIR CMX512-3200LLPT. I can have up to 4 GB on my motherboard, the ABIT IC7-MAX3. What I'm wondering is if I can successfully run my current RAM along with something such as CORSAIR TWINX2048-4000PT? I've already checked to see that they are compatible with my motherboard; but I'm wondering if I can run the simms together, or if I'd have to pull my old RAM out?
